Unique Football Clubs adds 7 new players

Unique Global Football Club has beefed up its ranks with the addition of seven players ahead of the resumption of the second division league. It is expected that the seven players will bring with them a wealth of experience, youth, talent, passion, and skill to the team.

One of the players is Abdoulie Danso, who goes by his sobriquet Neymar. The forward sensation was one of the bright stars for the team in the top flight last season but following their relegation, he travelled out of the country for pastures new. However, management was able to convince Neymar to return home as we seek to continue building our new project around him. An exceptional player, Danso is ready to dazzle and guide the team to higher height.

Also added to our roaster for the second round of the campaign is midfielder Muhammed Kassama, who last season played with Harts Academy but spent the first half of the current campaign in Senegal, even though he couldn’t sign a contract because of his age. He joins us from Harts on a permanent transfer. Sheriffo Kassama is also another rising star who was scouted in the streets of Manjai and the midfield dynamo comes with a bag full of flair and tenacity.

We have also signed winger Modou Lamin Manneh, widely known as Mola, on a permanent transfer from Young Africans. Secretary General Baboucarr Camara described Mola’s capture as a welcome development for the fact that he is expected to help the team both on and off the pitch due to his wealth of experience. Mola, who won the FF Cup with Wallidan, played for ASC Linguere in Senegal and Sektzia Nes Tziona in the Israeli lower tier.

Forward Bakary Jobe and midfielder Ebrima Ceesay also joined from Team Rhino and Serrekunda FC on loan respectively until the end of this season. The final player to join our ranks is rookie Muhammed F Darboe, who was snatched from the grip of top clubs on transfer deadline day. “Ebrima is a great midfielder with unique attributes and he is ready to weave magic in the heart of the midfield. Muhammed is a young left wingback but he is very talented and has a lot of potential to become a top player. His versatility promises to boost our team’s defense and offense,” Camara added.

“We are very excited about the new project that we are building and the return of Danso is very much in line with that. He is the star of this team and the player that we are building the team around. His absence in the first round could be seen in the results but we are optimistic that the results will improve with the addition of all the seven players.”
